Three Generations. One Coffee Cup.

This little green coffee cup was my grandfather's.

Lee Nichols. My dad's dad.

The short version

I watched him drink out of this cup since I was a little boy.

He took it everywhere.

• Out in his boat.
• Out in the stand.
• In the truck.
• At the house.
• While he was cutting wood.

My dad used it for a while.

Now I use it.

One day, I'll pass it down to my son.

Three generations so far

1. My grandfather, Lee Nichols.
2. My dad.
3. Me.

My son is next.

Why I always have it

Because it was his.

It rode with me on the drive to class at Panola College that Thursday, the same way it rode with him in the truck.
