Before the Cameras, I Was a Seller. I'm Building the Tool I Needed Back Then.

Before the cameras, I was a seller.
Long before a courtroom, before a single camera, before my name meant anything to anybody, I was a guy in East Texas figuring out how to move product on the internet and feed my family with it. I started Wholesale Universe in 2015. That is not a talking point. That is where I learned to build.
And I learned something in that world that most people outside it never see.
You do not own your store.
You think you do. You do the work, you find the products, you build the reviews, you carry all the risk. But you are standing on someone else's platform. And that platform can decide, on a random morning, that you are finished. Account suspended. Funds held. No phone number, no human, no explanation you can actually use.
I watched good sellers get erased overnight. People who did nothing wrong. People who could not prove they did nothing wrong, because they never kept the receipts in a form the machine would accept.
That stuck with me. Because it is the same lesson my whole life has been teaching me from another direction. If you cannot prove it, they can erase it. Records are protection. Receipts are protection. The person who kept the paper wins.
So I am building a tool for it. I call it SellerProof.
The idea is simple, which is usually how you know it is right. A seller should not have to scramble for documentation on the day their account gets flagged. That is the worst possible day to go looking for it. The proof should already exist. Already organized. Already in a shape you can hand over and say, here, look, I am legitimate, put me back.
Invoices. Sourcing. Authenticity. The paper trail that says this seller is real and this inventory is clean. Built before the emergency, not during it.
I am building it because I have lived the fear on both sides now. The fear of a platform that can turn you off without warning. And the harder fear of standing in front of people with power and not having your own record in your hands. Same wound. Same medicine. Keep the receipts. Build the file before you need it.
This is what a comeback actually looks like, by the way. It is not one big dramatic moment. It is a man who got knocked all the way down deciding to build again anyway. Wholesale Universe was the first thing I built from nothing. SellerProof is one more brick. There are others coming.
People assume that when everything gets taken from you, the building stops. For me it did the opposite. The building is the answer. It is how I get up in the morning. It is how I turn the worst thing that ever happened to me into tools that keep other people from getting steamrolled by systems that do not care about them.
If you sell online, hear me on this one. Do not wait for the flag. Get your proof in order now, this week, while nothing is wrong. Future you, standing in front of a suspension notice, will thank present you for keeping the paper.
And if you know a seller who already got shut down overnight and could not prove their way back in, send them my way. That is exactly the person I am building this for.
The platform can take the store. It cannot take the receipts. Keep them.
