I Emailed My Professors From a Jail Phone

I just got out of class at Panola College, and I've got to give it to Panola College and their professors.

They're very nice. They're very thoughtful. They're willing to work with you.

The short version

I thought I was going to get kicked out of school.

From a jail phone, I called my AI agents. They emailed my professors for me.

My professors gave me grace. So did Panola College.

What was on the line

I thought I was going to be kicked out of school and have to pay back thousands of dollars to the VA. Money I didn't have.

All for missing class while I was held in Harrison County. My position is that I was held unconstitutionally. (RYAN STATEMENT)

For two weeks I sat there wondering if I'd be allowed to come back to class at all.

The jail phone

Through technology and the systems I built, I was able to call over a jail phone to my ChatGPT and Claude. My AI agents.

I told them what was going on. I said, "Hey, send a message to my professors. Write emails to them." And we went back and forth.

Sure enough, it did.

So while I was in jail, I was able to communicate with my professors, let them know what was going on, and ask for some grace.

They gave me grace

They gave me some.

So did Panola College. The dean and the professors were willing to work with me. They gave me the opportunity to keep my student status, pass, and do it at an excellent level.
