Jeffrey Grace
Pardoned January 6 defendant
Documented editorial-use imageJeffrey Grace is a U.S. Army veteran and father from Battle Ground, Washington. He wore his country's uniform, then built a quiet life in southwest Washington. On January 6, 2021, Jeff drove to Washington, D.C. with his adult son to hear President Trump speak — father and son, side by side. After the rally he walked to the Capitol and stepped inside through a door that was already open. He was in the building only briefly. He carried no weapon and was never accused of any act of violence. The legal fight: Jeffrey Grace was arrested February 4, 2021 and charged by criminal information. He pleaded guilty to a single misdemeanor count of entering and remaining in a restricted building. In 2023 a federal judge sentenced him, then 64 years old, to 75 days. On January 20, 2025, President Trump granted clemency to January 6 defendants. An Army veteran in his sixties who went to D.C. with his son and walked through an open door — that is the man behind the case number. Case record: United States v. Jeffrey Grace, No. 1:21-cr-296, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Arrested February 4, 2021. This profile is unclaimed. If this is you — or your family — claiming it is free, forever.
