Brian Christopher Mock
Pardoned January 6 defendant
Brian Christopher Mock is a firsthand voice now. Since the Jan. 20, 2025 clemency he has sat for a long-form interview telling his own story of arrest and custody, and he went to federal court trying to get a say in how January 6 is memorialized. That is a man still fighting, in public, on the record. Brian Christopher Mock is one of the 1,571 January 6 defendants indexed in this archive, preserved from the DOJ Capitol Breach case list this site mirrored after the government scrubbed it from justice.gov. Organize the record, add your documents, and tell the story where no platform can bury it. POST-PARDON FIRSTHAND SOURCE, JANUARY 16, 2026: Lara Logan TV published a 1-hour-25-minute episode of Going Rogue featuring Brian Mock. The verified publisher listing identifies discussion of his January 6 background, arrest and pretrial detention, claimed treatment in the D.C. Jail, claimed exculpatory evidence, constitutional-rights claims, prison reform, the First Step Act, and proposed accountability work. These are Mock’s attributed firsthand statements and the publisher’s chapter descriptions; they are not presented as independently established findings. The archive still needs the native media, a complete contextual transcript, and supporting court, custody, medical, or Bureau of Prisons records before converting individual allegations into factual conclusions. ## Dunn v. Austin intervention record Brian Christopher Mock and Cindy Lou Young sought to intervene in *Dunn et al. v. Austin et al.*, No. 1:25-cv-01844-DLF, litigation concerning a congressionally directed January 6 law-enforcement plaque. Their proposed papers sought broader or different memorial relief and described harms they associated with prosecution, incarceration, stigma, public history, and treatment of January 6 defendants. Those descriptions remain attributed to Mock and Young unless independently corroborated. On March 30, 2026, Judge Dabney L. Friedrich denied intervention. The court concluded that Mock and Young had not alleged a concrete and particularized injury sufficient for Article III standing and separately declined permissive intervention because the proposed relief did not share the required legal or factual basis with the original plaintiffs’ statutory plaque claim and could delay or prejudice the original litigation. The ruling addressed standing and intervention. It did not decide the truth or falsity of every broader firsthand assertion in their papers.
