This Is Weaponization. And I Will Not Be Silenced.

I am an independent journalist. I expose the truth — about crooks and corrupt people wherever they are, whether they are on the street or sitting in positions of power. And right now, they are trying to shut me up for it.

Let me be clear about something: just because you do not like what I say about you — just because I exposed a side of you that you work hard to hide so you can pretend to be someone you are not — that does not make it harassment. It does not make it a crime. I have the receipts. And how do you argue with someone who has the proof? You can't. So instead you get angry, and you go tattle like a child because you did not get your way.

I will never stop fighting for the truth. For justice. I served this country. We fought wars so Americans could be free — and I will exercise every right I have, because I am able to, and because that is what those rights are for.

What they did to me

I was put in a maximum-security pod over a misdemeanor — for speaking the truth, for defending myself in public. They put a $10,000 cash bond on me over my First Amendment rights.

Think about what a cash bond is for. Cash bonds are for people who do not show up — people who run. I showed up. I went to my arraignment. I did not no-show. I did not run. I did not fight anyone. I did exactly what I was asked to do — and they revoked my bond and booked me in anyway.

The pretrial services problem

My bond condition was that I not post on social media. So I met with pretrial services and I told her the truth: I have to post. It is my source of income. I run a business and I am an independent journalist. She told me I could post. Amanda was there with me as my witness.

Now she wants to tell the judge that what she really said was that I could only post on websites. That is not the truth. And I have a witness who was in the room.

I have a bond hearing next week, and I am going to fight this.

This is a textbook weaponization case

Look at the pattern, because it is the same pattern every time the powerful go after someone for speech:

  1. I spoke out.
  2. A powerful person got upset.
  3. Suddenly, complaints and investigations began.
  4. Rules started being enforced against me differently than they are enforced against anyone else.
  5. And the enforcement was aimed at stopping my speech — not at addressing any genuine misconduct.

Sound familiar? It should. It is the same playbook used against January 6 defendants, and it is the same playbook being used in this county right now. The Mother's Day incident on May 10, where I was wrongly charged — and then the false harassment charge that got stacked on top of it. That is not law enforcement. That is retaliation with a badge.

Why this is not criminal harassment

Here is the part they do not want people thinking about.

Facebook has its own harassment policies. Facebook shuts down accounts for harassment all the time. My account was never shut down — even after Jon Williams filed his complaint. Facebook reviewed it and said there was nothing wrong with my posts. The platform built to police harassment looked at what I did and found no violation.

Now look at what criminal harassment actually requires. Prosecutors look for conduct meant to repeatedly harass, alarm, torment, or threaten a specific person through direct contact. That is not what I did. My posts were directed to the public — they were not repeated private messages sent directly to anyone.

  • No encouragement for anyone to harm themselves or others.
  • No doxxing.
  • No threats of violence.
  • No repeated unwanted direct contact.
  • No repeated threatening messages.

What I did was state facts that are supported by evidence, alongside my opinions. No criminal threats. No stalking. No extortion. It was a sustained, public campaign of criticism and exposure of Jon Williams's conduct — the exact same thing I do with every person whose conduct deserves daylight.

If that is harassment, then by God, every journalist and every citizen who has ever exposed someone should be locked in here with me.

This is bigger than me

My family is suffering over something that should never have been looked into in the first place. And here is the simplest truth of all: if you do not want to be exposed, then be a decent human being. That's it.

Every American deserves due process, equal treatment under the law, and the right to speak without fear of retaliation. We have the right to question those in power, to expose information the public deserves to know, and to hold public officials accountable. We also have the right to remain silent, the right to counsel, and the right to due process before the government takes our liberty.

You can agree with me or not — that is not the point. The point is that constitutional rights have to apply equally to everyone. Because if those rights can be ignored for one person, they can be ignored for all of us.

This was never just about me. It is about protecting the freedoms that belong to every single American. Because if they can do this to me — they will have no problem doing it to you.

You will not silence me. I will not be weaponized.
