For years they called us liars. Conspiracy theorists. They said there were no undercover officers in the crowd on January 6, that men like me invented it to excuse ourselves. We did not invent anything. We had the proof, and it was sitting in the government's own evidence files the whole time.

Where this footage came from

This did not fall out of the sky, and after a couple of years of it circulating online I am finally telling you exactly how it came together, because I am the one who put it together.

Will Pope found it. It came straight out of Evidence.com, the government's own evidence platform, buried inside the January 6 discovery files. While I was fighting my own case with my attorneys Joseph McBride, Jon Gross, and Brad Guyer, along with the investigators working alongside them, this footage got handed to me. None of them edited video. I did.

Judge Hogan allowed me to work on the video evidence in my case using Camtasia, and that is exactly what I used. Every arrow, every circle, every caption telling you where to look on the screen, that was me. I built it so that anyone, with no training at all, could follow along and watch an undercover officer move through the crowd at the Capitol.

It went viral. It has been posted all over the place. I believe Joseph McBride put it out officially, and I believe it also went out through Will Pope and possibly Justin B. Bright. People have shared it for years without knowing who edited it. That was me, and I am finally putting my name on it.

Credit where it is owed

I did not do this alone, and a lot of men put in real work to drag this into the light.

Jon Gross wrote the motion that got me out after two years. Let that sit for a second. Two years, and a motion he wrote is part of the reason I am not still in a cell. Joseph McBride, whatever anyone wants to say about him, was as good as anyone in the country on January 6 cases. He found things nobody else found, and without his work I would not have gotten the due process violations I got onto the record. Brad Guyer too. These attorneys, the investigators, and the other defendants who refused to shut up earned this. I am not too proud to thank the people who fought when it counted.

What the courts did with it

Here is the part that should make you angry.

We brought this into the case. We laid it out and we talked about it. And the courts acted like it did not exist. They went right over it. They ignored it. The same system that called us liars for saying undercover officers were in the crowd was holding the footage of undercover officers in the crowd, and it pretended that footage was not there.

That is the pattern, and once you see it you cannot unsee it. They tell you that you are crazy, that you are lying, that you are a conspiracy theorist, right up until you set the proof on the table. Then they go quiet and change the subject. Will Pope pulled these out of the files on undercover officers. We confirmed these are undercover officers wearing this body camera. It is not a theory. It is on camera, in their own discovery.
