Zvonimir Joseph Jurlina ran his own YouTube channel, Zykotik, making him one of the independent content creators swept up in the aftermath of January 6, 2021. He was arrested in Austin, Texas that June. He pleaded guilty to one count, an act of physical violence on Capitol grounds, and was sentenced on July 20, 2023 to 14 days, two years of supervised release, and $500 in restitution. He has since been released. Zvonimir Jurlina has described himself publicly as a patriot, and a legal-defense fund set up on his behalf points to his faith and the toll of a case that stretched on for years.
