William Wright Watson is an Auburn, Alabama man who was among the earliest January 6 defendants publicly named in the Deep South and who took his case through a federal bench trial in the District of Columbia. William Wright Watson is a lifelong Alabamian identified by federal charging papers as being in Auburn at the time of his arrest.
