William Tryon is the founder of a Capital Region, New York civic group, a Back the Blue organizer, and a man his own town supervisor stood up for in a letter to a federal judge. FACT: Tryon is the founder of the Liberty Bell Alliance 76, a civic group describing itself on Facebook as "Modern day Minutemen and women working together through peaceful channels." He has organized pro-police rallies in the Albany, New York area, according to local public radio station WAMC. FACT: On March 30, 2021, Tryon was arrested and charged in connection with the January 6, 2021 Capitol riot after a relative recognized him on CNN footage from that day. THEIR ACCOUNT: In video from that day, Tryon is heard saying, "All we want to do is enter and tell our representatives that we want our country back. We're not going to take this." That is his own statement, captured on camera, part of the public record. DOCUMENTED INFERENCE: The Coeymans, New York town supervisor wrote a letter to the sentencing judge on Tryon's behalf, according to the Times Union. A sitting town official putting his own name behind a letter to a federal court is not something that happens for just anybody. FACT: Tryon pleaded guilty to Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building. The remaining charges were dismissed. He was sentenced January 14, 2022 to 50 days incarceration, 12 months supervised release, a $1,000 fine, and $500 restitution. FACT: On January 20, 2025, William Tryon received a full and unconditional pardon. RYAN STATEMENT: A man built a community group, stood up for law enforcement at rallies, and had his own town supervisor vouch for him in court. That is a civic record most critics never bother to mention. This is the record. Not the sound bite. The record. CASE RECORD: Case No. 1:21-cr-420, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Arrested March 30, 2021. Sentenced January 14, 2022. Full pardon January 20, 2025. This profile is unclaimed. If this is you, or your family, claiming it is free, forever.
