William Dunfee
Pardoned January 6 defendant
Documented editorial-use imageWilliam Dunfee is a pastor from Frazeysburg, Ohio, who led New Beginnings Ministry in Warsaw for years before his life intersected with the January 6 record. William Dunfee is a preacher first, a father, and a small-town Ohio man. He built a congregation in Coshocton County and spoke openly from his pulpit about his convictions and his presence at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021. He did not hide it. He said his piece in front of his own church, in his own voice. The federal case against Dunfee was built partly from those same sermons, which prosecutors used in court. He was later convicted at trial. Case 1:22-mj-217 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Docket: Complaint filed 9/30/22. Arrested 10/5/22. He was later tried and convicted in the D.C. case; on January 20, 2025, President Trump granted clemency covering the January 6 prosecutions. This profile is unclaimed. If this is you, or your family, claiming it is free, forever.
