Victor Anthony Martinez is one of the more than 1,500 Americans who went to Washington, D.C. on January 6, 2021, and came home to a federal case. He wasn't arrested right away. The complaint against Victor Anthony Martinez wasn't filed until January 20, 2023, two years after the fact, and he was taken into custody four days later. That is how a lot of these cases went. Agents worked tip lines and crowd photos for years before a knock on the door. Martinez pleaded guilty to a single count, parading in the Capitol building. The government dropped the rest, including the restricted-building and disorderly conduct counts. He was sentenced to 14 days, 12 months of probation, and $500 in restitution. On January 20, 2025, President Trump issued a full and unconditional pardon covering January 6 defendants. Victor Anthony Martinez was one of them.
