Tyler Henson is a 30 year old man from Marion, Pennsylvania, a village in Franklin County. He is the January 6 defendant whose entire sentence lasted three days. Read that again. Sentenced January 17, 2025. Pardoned January 20, 2025. ## The legal fight Federal agents arrested Tyler Henson on May 30, 2024, in York, Pennsylvania. That is three years and five months after January 6, 2021. Three and a half years of his life spent waiting for a knock. He was charged with four MISDEMEANORS. No felony. No assault count. No weapon. Tyler Henson pleaded guilty to TWO of them: disorderly conduct in a Capitol building, and parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building. The other two were dismissed. On January 17, 2025, the court sentenced him to 6 months of PROBATION, a $20 special assessment, $500 in restitution, and a $500 fine. No prison. Not one day. ## Clemency On January 20, 2025, three days after that sentencing, Tyler Henson received a full pardon under the presidential proclamation covering January 6 convictions. ## What the record shows FACT: every count charged against Tyler Henson of Marion, Pennsylvania was a misdemeanor. FACT: he was sentenced to probation, not incarceration. FACT: he was arrested in May 2024, nearly three and a half years after the event. DOCUMENTED INFERENCE: the docket for this case appears on CourtListener as United States v. Henson, No. 1:24-cr-00362, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. The archive labels that docket number an inference pending capture of the native judgment. ## What this does not prove Three and a half years of waiting is not nothing. A man spends those years not knowing. Then he gets probation and a pardon in the same week. The waiting was the punishment. ## Case record - Case: 1:24-cr-00362 (CourtListener, pending native confirmation) - Court: U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia - Arrest: May 30, 2024, York, Pennsylvania - Plea: Guilty, two misdemeanor counts - Sentence: 6 months probation, $500 restitution, $500 fine, January 17, 2025 - Clemency: Full pardon, January 20, 2025 This profile is unclaimed.
