Tyler Campanella is a New York man whose January 6 arrest put a family name in headlines he never asked for, and whose case ended the way most January 6 cases from that late wave ended: dismissed. FACT: Campanella was arrested April 17, 2024 in New York, and charged with Obstruction of an Official Proceeding, Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building, and related counts tied to January 6, 2021. DOCUMENTED INFERENCE: National coverage of his arrest focused heavily on his family connection to reality television rather than on the actual conduct alleged. That says more about tabloid news judgment than it does about Tyler Campanella. FACT: Campanella pleaded not guilty to every charge. FACT: On January 27, 2025, the court granted the government's motion to dismiss the case against Tyler Campanella with prejudice. With prejudice means the case is over and cannot be refiled. He was never convicted of anything. RYAN STATEMENT: A young man's name got dragged through celebrity gossip pages before he ever saw a courtroom. That is not justice, that is a headline machine. The government eventually dropped the whole thing. Very few of those gossip pages ran that follow-up with the same size font. DOCUMENTED INFERENCE: Reporting on Campanella's case rarely mentioned the outcome once the dismissal came through, even though the arrest itself made national wire coverage. That imbalance, loud arrest, quiet dismissal, is common across this archive and it is exactly why this record exists. Same county, opposite rule. When the government's own case falls apart, that belongs in the record just as loud as the arrest did. This is the record. Read it. Share it. Send receipts, evidence, witnesses. Put eyes on the record. CASE RECORD: U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Arrested April 17, 2024. Case dismissed with prejudice January 27, 2025. This profile is unclaimed.
