Troy Allen Koen is a Brownsburg, Indiana man whose January 6 case stayed open through most of 2024 before it reached a guilty plea. FACT: The FBI arrested Koen on November 9, 2023, in Indianapolis. FACT: He pleaded guilty to one count of assaulting, resisting, or impeding officers using a dangerous weapon, admitting he used a flagpole against police in a Capitol tunnel that day. Eight additional counts named in the original complaint were resolved through the plea agreement. FACT: U.S. District Chief Judge James Boasberg had Koen's sentencing calendared for February 26, 2025. NEEDS AUTHENTICATION: whether that sentencing went forward as scheduled or was overtaken by the January 20, 2025 clemency proclamation covering January 6 offenses, which landed more than a month before his sentencing date. Ryan's team has not independently confirmed Troy Koen's final disposition and flags it for follow-up. Troy Koen already admitted what he did in open court. The plea is on the record. What happens next is what this profile will track once it is confirmed. CASE RECORD: United States v. Koen, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. FBI arrest November 9, 2023; guilty plea entered 2024. This profile is unclaimed. If this is you, or your family, claiming it is free, forever.
