Tommy Frederick Allan is a Rocklin, California man who, after January 6, did something not everyone did — he owned it. THEIR ACCOUNT: In a letter to the federal judge he wrote, "I am writing this letter to acknowledge responsibility for my behavior on January 6, 2021, to express sincere remorse and to apologize to the victims... I was wrong." (Quoted in court filings and ABC10.) FACT: Allan was inside the Senate Chamber on January 6 and admitted taking documents from a desk. He pleaded guilty to obstruction of an official proceeding and on December 8, 2022 was sentenced to 21 months. FACT: After his release he went back to work — reported to be teaching in the Roseville area. A man who served his sentence and returned to a classroom.
