Terrell Andrew Roberts is a Kensington, Maryland working man whose January 6 case was dismissed with prejudice. No plea. No trial. No conviction. He was inside the Capitol for about twelve minutes on January 6, 2021. Then he walked out. It took the government three years to come knock. FACT: Per the FBI affidavit, an anonymous tip said a coworker at a Domino's store in Silver Spring, Maryland had been inside the Capitol, and his former employer there identified him from photographs. A pizza store. Not a plot. CHARGE ONLY: The affidavit says he went in through the Senate Wing Door around 3:03 p.m., stepped back out, came in again at 3:06 p.m., chanted "U.S.A." with others in a hallway, and was out by about 3:15 p.m. That is the government's own timeline, in the government's own filing. It was never tested in court. DOCUMENTED INFERENCE: The affidavit describes a tip on January 7, 2021 and a facial recognition match against his Maryland driver's license photo on January 12, 2021. No charge came until January 29, 2024. The government had a name for three years before it filed. FACT: Four misdemeanors. Entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds. Disorderly and disruptive conduct there. Disorderly conduct in a Capitol building. Parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building. No felony. No weapon count. No assault count. WHERE THINGS STAND: FACT: Complaint filed January 29, 2024. Arrested February 1, 2024, in Washington, D.C. FACT: He never entered a plea and never faced a jury. On January 22, 2025, following President Trump's clemency proclamation, the court granted the government's motion to dismiss his case with prejudice. No conviction. Terrell Andrew Roberts is presumed innocent of everything alleged against him. We found nothing published about his family, his church, or his own account. Four misdemeanors and twelve minutes do not draw reporters. They draw a line on a list. We will not invent the rest. We will publish it the day it comes from him.
