Tara Aileen Stottlemyer is a farmer. She came home from federal prison and went to work building something that feeds people. She and her husband started Free Folk Pastures, a regenerative farming operation, after January 6. (FACT, reported by the Herald-Standard and Observer-Reporter, January 22, 2025.) Not a podcast. Not a grift. Livestock, grass, and dirt under her fingernails. Tara Stottlemyer was living in Bentleyville, Pennsylvania, in Washington County, when she went to Washington, D.C. She later moved to Conover, North Carolina. She was 39 at the time of the 2025 pardon coverage. She was one of nine southwestern Pennsylvania residents whose January 6 convictions were wiped out on January 20, 2025. THE LEGAL FIGHT FACT: Indicted July 28, 2021. Arrested September 14, 2021. Superseding indictment February 2, 2022. Pleaded guilty October 3, 2022, per the DOJ docket record. FACT: She was sentenced to eight months. She reported in December 2023 and came home in June 2024 after serving six. (Herald-Standard.) FACT: On January 20, 2025, President Trump granted clemency covering the January 6 prosecutions.
