Suzan McClain is a Marceline, Missouri woman, from the small Missouri town where Walt Disney spent part of his childhood, whose January 6 case was dismissed before it ever produced a plea or a trial. Here's what the record shows. McClain was arrested December 5, 2024, nearly four years after the Capitol breach, one of the last arrests made in the entire January 6 caseload. FACT, per the U.S. Attorney's Office for D.C. She was charged with entering and remaining in a restricted building, disorderly and disruptive conduct, disorderly conduct in a Capitol building, and parading, demonstrating, or picketing. On January 22, 2025, the court granted the government's motion to dismiss her case with prejudice. FACT, per the court docket. That happened before McClain ever entered a plea. No conviction exists in her record, and none ever will, because the case is permanently closed. The pattern holds across dozens of these late-arrest cases in this archive: a name sits unexamined for years, a federal complaint finally gets filed, and then the government's own follow-through decides the outcome before a jury ever sees it. This archive found no independent news coverage of McClain beyond the federal charging documents. That is stated plainly rather than filled in. A person was charged, and before the case went anywhere, the government dropped it for good. Ryan Nichols built this record because these late, thin cases are the ones nobody follows up on. A person's name goes into a federal docket, then a federal docket says the case is over, and almost nobody outside the family ever hears the second half. This is the record. Show me the evidence. The evidence here is a dismissal.
