Siaka Massaquoi built a career on camera long before January 6, and that career is still part of who he is. FACT: Massaquoi is an actor based in Los Angeles with television credits including S.W.A.T. and Lethal Weapon, according to his industry filmography and press coverage. He also works as a conservative commentator and activist. FACT: Massaquoi traveled from California to Washington, D.C. on January 5, 2021. Surveillance video and his own livestream show him entering the Capitol through the Senate wing door on January 6, 2021 and exiting about two minutes later. He was arrested November 30, 2023. FACT: Massaquoi was charged with Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building, Disorderly Conduct, and Parading in a Capitol Building. He pleaded not guilty to every count and a jury trial was set for January 21, 2025. FACT: On January 21, 2025, the court granted the government's motion to dismiss the case against Siaka Massaquoi with prejudice. He was never convicted of anything. RYAN STATEMENT: Two minutes in a building is not an insurrection. He walked in, he walked out, and the government eventually dropped the whole case. That is worth saying loud, because the headlines from 2021 never got the correction they owed him. Show me the evidence. The evidence here shows a dismissed case and a man who never had his day in court because the government chose to walk away first. DOCUMENTED INFERENCE: Some tabloid-style outlets ran his arrest as a bigger story than his own hometown paper did, framing it with their own political spin. That is worth knowing before you trust any single account of what happened, this one included. Go to the primary source: the court docket. This is the record. Not the mugshot, not somebody else's narrative. The record. CASE RECORD: U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Arrested November 30, 2023. Case dismissed with prejudice January 21, 2025.
