Saul Llamas wore a badge in northeast Ohio. Perry, Ohio. State certified as a peace officer in June 2018. By late 2022 Saul Llamas was working part time for the University Hospitals police department, and he had also served part time with the North Perry and Geneva-on-the-Lake departments. [FACT, News 5 Cleveland] That is the first thing you should know about him. Before he was a case number, Saul Llamas was a cop who answered calls. THE LEGAL FIGHT A federal complaint was filed November 14, 2022. The FBI arrested him November 30, 2022. He was 29. [FACT] Investigators alleged he and two other people were inside the Capitol for about nine minutes. [CHARGE ONLY] That is an assertion in a charging document. It is not a verdict. No court found otherwise on this profile, and nothing here says it did. He was suspended from his University Hospitals police job after the charges came. [FACT] A man loses the badge before a jury ever hears a word. That is the part nobody covers. On January 20, 2025, the President issued clemency covering January 6 prosecutions. [FACT] What that order did to the docket in Saul Llamas's specific case is [NEEDS AUTHENTICATION]. If you have the docket entry, send it and we will publish it. THE CASE RECORD Case number: 1:22-mj-251 Court: U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia Complaint filed November 14, 2022. Arrested November 30, 2022. A later criminal case number reported as 1:23-cr-20 before Judge Trevor N. McFadden is [NEEDS AUTHENTICATION]. DOJ defendant page is linked on this profile. WHAT THIS DOES NOT PROVE It does not prove what Saul Llamas did or did not do inside that building. Charging papers are one side talking. WHAT IT DOES PROVE A part time police officer from Perry, Ohio lost his job over a nine minute allegation, and the record is thinner than the headlines. This profile is unclaimed. If this is you, or your family, claiming it is free, forever.
