Raul Eduardo Jarrin is a Houston, Texas man whose entire time inside the U.S. Capitol, according to the government's own surveillance footage, was about fifteen seconds. Fifteen seconds. Read that again, then read the file. FACT: The FBI statement of facts says the man agents identified as Raul Eduardo Jarrin approached the East Front House Door at approximately 2:45 p.m. on January 6, 2021, entered, and exited with other people roughly 15 seconds later. That is the government's own description of the conduct. FACT: Raul Eduardo Jarrin attended the rally that morning and showed agents photos from it. He sat for an FBI interview in July 2021, more than seven months before he was ever arrested. FACT: He was arrested on March 8, 2022, in Houston, Texas, after a complaint was filed March 1, 2022. FACT: Raul Eduardo Jarrin pleaded guilty to ONE count, parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building. That is a petty misdemeanor, the lowest charge in the entire January 6 docket. Every other count was dismissed. No felony. No assault. No weapon. FACT: On June 23, 2023, he was sentenced to 14 days of incarceration, 36 months of probation, $500 in restitution and a $10 special assessment. FACT: On January 20, 2025, Raul Eduardo Jarrin received a full presidential pardon. NEEDS AUTHENTICATION: His trade, his employer, any military service, his family in Houston. None of that has surfaced in a source we can cite, and all of it outranks fifteen seconds of footage.
