Randy Paul Verdun, Sr. is a Denham Springs, Louisiana man. Livingston Parish. Three and a half years passed between January 6, 2021 and the day the FBI knocked on his door. Three and a half years of going to work and living his life in Denham Springs before anybody accused him of anything. FACT: When FBI agents interviewed him on April 16, 2024, Verdun told them plainly that he had traveled to Washington to attend the rally, and he identified himself in the images they showed him. He did not run. He did not lie about being there. (WAFB 9; The Advocate) CHARGE ONLY / NEEDS AUTHENTICATION: A warrant was signed May 16, 2024 charging Verdun with four federal offenses tied to January 6: trespassing, disorderly or disruptive conduct, disorderly conduct in a Capitol building, and violent entry. These are allegations. They were never tried and never proven. Randy Verdun is presumed innocent of every count. (WAFB 9) FACT: At his initial appearance on May 23, 2024, Verdun was released without bail. The court did not consider him a danger or a flight risk. FACT: On January 20, 2025, President Trump granted clemency covering the January 6 prosecutions. Randy Paul Verdun, Sr. was never convicted of anything arising from that day. No conviction. No trial.
