Patrick Duffy is a Cleveland Heights, Ohio man whose federal case, in the end, went away entirely, before he was ever sentenced. FACT: court documents allege that on January 6, 2021, Duffy walked from the White House Ellipse down Pennsylvania Avenue toward the Capitol, was seen on open-source video in the crowd behind commentator Alex Jones, and later joined a group that took a riot shield from an officer before entering the building through the Rotunda. Patrick Duffy wasn't arrested until March 6, 2024, more than three years after the fact, in Cleveland. FACT: he pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors, disorderly conduct and parading in the Capitol. Sentencing was set for May 6, 2025. It never happened. FACT: on January 23, 2025, the court granted the government's own motion to dismiss the case with prejudice, closing it for good before Duffy was ever sentenced. Patrick Duffy pleaded guilty, faced a sentencing date on the calendar, and watched the government itself pull the case before a judge ever handed down a punishment. No prison time. No probation. The case simply ended. For a Cleveland Heights man who spent three years with this hanging over him, waiting on an arrest that didn't come until March 2024 and a sentencing date that never arrived, that's the record: charged, pleaded, and then the case was gone before punishment was ever imposed. What this doesn't prove: it doesn't establish his job, his family, or his life in Cleveland Heights outside this case. What it does prove: he pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors, and the case was dismissed with prejudice before sentencing. CASE RECORD U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Arrested March 6, 2024. Pleaded guilty to Disorderly Conduct in a Capitol Building and Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing in a Capitol Building. Case dismissed with prejudice January 23, 2025, before sentencing. This profile is unclaimed. If this is you, or your family, claiming it is free, forever.
