Michael J. St. Pierre is a Massachusetts small-business man from Swansea who ran a neighborhood grocery store in Fall River, a hometown grocer known to his customers long before he was ever known for January 6, 2021. FACT: Michael St. Pierre was charged in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and, after a bench trial, was convicted in October 2024 of civil disorder and related offenses connected to the Capitol protest. FACT: On January 20, 2025, before his scheduled sentencing, President Trump granted clemency covering January 6 defendants, which applied to Michael St. Pierre's case. Beyond the headlines, St. Pierre is a Southeastern Massachusetts businessman and grocer, a working member of the Fall River and Swansea community.
