Matthew Bokoski is a Chicago man who drove to Washington to stand next to his dad. On January 6, 2021, Matthew, then 32, met his father Bradley Bokoski, a Joliet native who had settled in Utah, for a Trump rally in DC. In his own court filings, Matthew called himself the very model of a law-abiding citizen. Father and son both maintain they walked into the Capitol out of curiosity, not violence, and stayed peaceful once inside. Matthew Bokoski pleaded guilty on October 13, 2022 to one misdemeanor count of parading, with three other misdemeanor counts dismissed under the plea. On May 25, 2023, he was sentenced to 36 months probation, $500 restitution, and 150 hours of community service. Then came the reversal. On January 20, 2025, President Trump gave Matthew Bokoski a full pardon, verified in the Office of the Pardon Attorney's own recipient list. Father and son, case closed, together. CASE RECORD Case No. 1:22-cr-00207-CRC. U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Pleaded guilty 10/13/22. Sentenced 5/25/23. Full pardon 1/20/25. This profile is unclaimed.
