Put his service first, because it is fact, reported by Utah news outlets that covered his case from the start. He wore this country's uniform in a combat zone before he ever stood in a federal courtroom. The charges against him were serious, including assaulting officers with a dangerous weapon and inflicting bodily injury on a federal officer. He pleaded guilty to one count of assaulting, resisting, or impeding law enforcement officers. The remaining charges were dismissed as part of the plea.
