Kennedy Lindsey is a California woman who was charged in connection with January 6 more than three years after the fact. She was never tried. She was never convicted. Everything the government said about her is an allegation and it stayed an allegation. Start with what the record actually establishes, because the headlines did not. THE LEGAL FIGHT Kennedy Lindsey was charged in 2024 alongside a co-defendant, Danielle Lacy, in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. FACT, DOJ announcement and national reporting, August 2024. The government alleged she carried weapons into the Capitol on January 6, 2021. CHARGE ONLY. Those are the words of an FBI affidavit, not a jury. No jury ever heard this case and no judge ever entered a verdict on it. Her case was still pending when, on January 20, 2025, a Presidential proclamation granted a full, complete and unconditional pardon for offenses relating to events at or near the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021, and the Department of Justice moved to dismiss pending January 6 prosecutions. DOCUMENTED INFERENCE as applied to Kennedy Lindsey, pending docket confirmation. WHAT THIS DOES NOT PROVE It does not prove Kennedy Lindsey did any of it. Charges are charges. An affidavit is one side of a story told by the side that wrote it. Presumption of innocence stands and it always did. WHAT THIS ARCHIVE NEEDS Her hometown, her work, her family, her side of it. Every one of those is NEEDS AUTHENTICATION right now because nobody bothered to ask her. That is the gap this archive exists to close. CASE RECORD Name: Kennedy Lindsey. State: California. Case number: NEEDS AUTHENTICATION, not published in available coverage. Court: U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Charged 2024. No conviction of record.
