Joshua Kaleb Youngerman is an Imperial Beach, California man who spent a year and a half under federal indictment — and walked out the other side without a single conviction. FACT: Youngerman was arrested in late July 2023 in San Diego County. Prosecutors alleged he climbed a rope up the northwest wall of the Capitol on January 6, 2021, entered around 2:37 p.m., walked to the Rotunda, and left a short time later through the Upper West Terrace Door (FOX 5 San Diego; Times of San Diego). An August 2024 superseding indictment stacked on additional counts tied to a California Telegram group. Every one of those charges was an allegation — none was ever proven at trial, and Joshua Youngerman pleaded guilty to nothing. The legal fight ended on January 20, 2025, when the presidential clemency proclamation ordered pending January 6 indictments dismissed with prejudice. After eighteen months under the weight of a federal case, Joshua Youngerman's record shows no January 6 conviction. Case record: initially Case No. 23-mj-00177, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. DOJ defendant page: justice.gov/usao-dc/defendants/youngerman-joushua-k-0. This profile is unclaimed.
