Jody Lynn Tagaris is a West Palm Beach, Florida woman who spent years doing the unglamorous work of local politics. In the early 2000s, under the name Jody Warmack, she served on the executive committee of the Palm Beach County Republican Party, and in 2002 she ran for Palm Beach County Commissioner. She lost that primary. She showed up anyway. That is who Jody Tagaris has been in her community for a long time. FACT: Tagaris served on the Palm Beach County Republican Party executive committee in the early 2000s and ran in a 2002 primary for county commissioner. (CBS12 News, West Palm Beach) FACT: Jody Lynn Tagaris was charged in connection with January 6 after a complaint was filed on May 14, 2021. She was arrested on May 25, 2021 and pleaded guilty on December 1, 2021. On June 6, 2022 she was sentenced to 24 months of probation, 60 hours of community service, a $2,000 fine, and $500 in restitution. No prison.
