Garth Nathaniel Walton is a Yulee, Florida man from Nassau County, up in the northeast corner of the state. Arrested July 2024. Case dismissed January 2025. He was never tried and never convicted. THE CHARGES, STATED PLAINLY CHARGE ONLY: Walton was charged with Civil Disorder; Assaulting, Resisting, or Impeding Certain Officers; Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds; Disorderly and Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building or Grounds; Engaging in Physical Violence in a Restricted Building or Grounds; Disorderly Conduct in a Capitol Building; and an Act of Physical Violence in the Capitol Grounds or Buildings. Charges are charges. Garth Walton is presumed innocent of every count on that list. THE OUTCOME FACT: On January 23, 2025, the court ordered the case dismissed without prejudice.
