Gabriel Morgan Brown is a Long Island man from Bayville, New York, a small village of about three thousand people on the Oyster Bay shoreline. Bayville is the kind of town where everybody knows the guy at the hardware store. It is not a militia town. It is not a compound. It is a beach village in Nassau County, and Gabriel Brown drove down from it to Washington, D.C. WHAT THE RECORD ACTUALLY SAYS FACT, per the government: video showed Gabriel Morgan Brown walking through the media staging area outside the Capitol, kicking at abandoned equipment and filming. (American Gulag, summarizing the charging documents.) That is what he pleaded to. Not assaulting an officer. Not a weapon. Broken camera gear in a parking area. The charge the DOJ labeled Act of Violence on the U.S. Capitol Grounds sounds like a war crime until you read what is under it. THE LEGAL FIGHT FACT: Arrested June 30, 2021. Released on personal recognizance July 6, 2021. No pretrial detention. Not one day. FACT: On February 8, 2023, Gabriel Brown pleaded guilty to two counts. Sentencing was set for July 12, 2023. FACT: On January 20, 2025, President Trump granted clemency covering the January 6 prosecutions. THE CASE RECORD Listed on the DOJ Capitol Breach page as 1:21-mj-503, tracked as 23-cr-0009, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Charges per the DOJ record: Destruction or Injury to Buildings or Property in Special Maritime and Territorial Jurisdiction; Entering or Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds; Disorderly and Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building or Grounds; Act of Violence on the U.S. Capitol Grounds. NEEDS AUTHENTICATION: the final sentence imposed, and anything about Gabriel Morgan Brown as a man. Trade, family, service, church. If you know him, fill in the blanks. A name and a docket number is not a life. This profile is unclaimed. If this is you, or your family, claiming it is free, forever.
