Darl McDorman is a man from Waynesboro, in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley. His was among the last wave of January 6 cases the Justice Department brought, he was arrested in April 2024, more than three years after that day. McDorman was charged with assaulting law enforcement and related felony and misdemeanor counts. Those were the government's allegations; charges are accusations, not proof, and Darl McDorman's case never reached a jury. On January 20, 2025, President Trump granted sweeping clemency to January 6 defendants, bringing the January 6 prosecutions, including cases still pending, like McDorman's, to a close. Case record: United States v. Darl McDorman, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Arrested April 2024 in the Western District of Virginia; case resolved following the January 2025 clemency. This profile is unclaimed. If this is you, or your family, claiming it is free, forever.
