Dan Edwin Wilson is a Louisville, Kentucky man whose January 6 case was covered by a presidential pardon on January 20, 2025. (FACT.) FACT: On January 6, 2021 he entered the Capitol for roughly ten minutes, through the Upper West Terrace door, into the Rotunda, through Statuary Hall, and back out. He was later charged with obstruction and misdemeanor counts. NEEDS AUTHENTICATION / ongoing: Wilson's road did not end with the pardon. A separate federal firearms matter, not part of the January 6 clemency, kept him in the court system, and his release became the subject of dispute.
