Christopher Taylor is a 41-year-old U.S. Air Force veteran from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Before Christopher Taylor was ever a defendant, he put on the uniform and served in the United States Air Force. That fact comes straight from sentencing memos filed in his own federal case, the same kind of document that rarely makes the headlines but tells you who a man actually is. Court records say Taylor entered the Capitol through the Senate Wing Door at 2:23 p.m. on January 6, 2021, and spent the next eleven minutes filming himself moving through hallways and an office before leaving through the Memorial Door. He was arrested January 12, 2024, in Philadelphia, three years after that afternoon. Taylor pleaded guilty to one count, Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds. The other charges against him were dismissed. On November 22, 2024, he was sentenced to 24 months probation, $500 restitution, and a $25 special assessment. No prison time. On January 20, 2025, President Trump granted Christopher Taylor a full pardon. An Air Force veteran from Philadelphia, one misdemeanor plea, probation, and a pardon from the Commander in Chief. Same standard this site holds for every name here: the record first, the service record right alongside it, and the reader left to decide the rest.
