Caleb Berry is from the Tampa, Florida area. He was 20 years old and one of the earliest Oath Keepers-linked defendants to plead guilty after January 6, 2021, admitting to conspiracy and obstruction charges in July 2021. But he did not stop there. Caleb Berry testified against other Oath Keepers defendants at two separate trials, giving prosecutors what courts described as pivotal testimony in the seditious conspiracy cases that followed. In court, Caleb Berry told the judge the process helped him recognize "the path of radicalization" he had been headed down, and he apologized to his family and his country: "I acted in a way that was foolish. I let my emotions get the best of me." U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta sentenced him to 36 months of probation, no prison time, and said the American people owed Caleb Berry "a debt of gratitude" for testifying against the others. On January 20, 2025, he received a full pardon. CASE RECORD Case No. 1:21-cr-460, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Charged via criminal information 7/9/21. Pleaded guilty to conspiracy and obstruction of an official proceeding, 7/20/21. Cooperated with prosecutors; testified at two Oath Keepers trials.
