Brent Holdridge is a Northern California man from the Eureka area, up in Humboldt County. [FACT] On January 6, 2021, he walked into the Capitol carrying a flag. [FACT] He told investigators he did not damage any property and did not assault anyone. [THEIR ACCOUNT] The government charged him only with misdemeanors — the same four petty offenses filed against hundreds of people who walked through open doors that day: entering a restricted building, disorderly conduct, and picketing inside the Capitol. [FACT] No violence. No weapon. He pleaded guilty in August 2022. [FACT] On January 20, 2025, President Trump granted clemency to roughly 1,500 January 6 defendants. Brent was among them.
