Bradley Scott Nelson is a commercial truck driver from the North Las Vegas, Nevada area — a man who has spent his working life hauling freight across the country. In January 2021, he drove his truck from southern Nevada all the way to Washington, D.C. (8 News Now, Las Vegas Review-Journal). FACT: Bradley Nelson was arrested on March 22, 2023, on four nonviolent misdemeanor charges: entering a restricted building, disorderly or disruptive conduct, disorderly conduct in a Capitol building, and parading, demonstrating or picketing (8 News Now). No assault. No destruction charged. FACT: In August 2024, a judge ordered him detained pending trial after prosecutors pointed to his online posts (CBS News). Those were allegations — his December 2024 trial date came and went without a verdict on them. FACT: On January 20, 2025, President Trump signed a clemency proclamation covering January 6 prosecutions, directing dismissal of pending cases like Nelson's. Bradley Nelson walked out with the federal case ended and the road ahead of him again. CASE RECORD U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Charged March 2023 with four misdemeanor counts.
