I May Be Thrown in Jail This Week — Here's Why

As a pardoned January 6 defendant, I may be thrown back in jail this week — this time by Harrison County, Texas.

Here's why. I challenged my bond conditions as unconstitutional. I told the court they violate my rights and make it impossible to work and pay my bills. I'm facing a $50,000 bond — on a misdemeanor. I was questioned without ever being read my rights. I believe I was wrongfully charged and wrongfully arrested, and because I can't retain counsel, I'm being forced to defend myself pro se.

On top of that, I've received credible death threats from people in Harrison County over allegations I maintain are false. When I finally spoke up to defend myself, it appears my bond was recalled — and may be reset even higher.

I'm going to fight this to the fullest extent of the law. If it isn't resolved correctly this week, I intend to file a federal civil rights claim against Harrison County — I believe the record supports selective prosecution and retaliation.

I'd rather move on with my life. But if Harrison County won't let me, I'm prepared to give this the next 5 to 10 years.
