Edward Jacob Lang released after more than four years in pretrial custody
Lang was released from D.C. custody after the dismissal. In a post-release clip later carried in a broadcast transcript, he said January 6 defendants would be “vindicated in the pages of history.” The statement is attributed to Lang.
