About the book
Fighting Shadows
A memoir of January 6, political persecution, and fighting back.
This is a first-person account of January 6 — the road into it, the “Summer of Love,” the 2020 election, the events in Washington, D.C., the D.C. jail, forced vaccination, solitary confinement, abuse, coerced plea pressure, due process violations, and the fight to put the full record in public view.
About the author
Ryan Nichols
Ryan Nichols is a former United States Marine and search-and-rescue volunteer from East Texas. He was prosecuted in connection with January 6, held for nearly four years in the federal system — including the Washington, D.C. jail — and later pardoned. He now publishes his case file, evidence, and first-person account in the open at RealRyanNichols.com.
